Customer Reviews

"This book is a worthwhile investment. I have plenty of raw and living food books, but this one is incredibly good. Very user friendly--explains things clearly and in enough detail for newbies yet provides plenty of easy, healthy recipes for those with more experience. I have made at least 4 things from it and I have only had the book for a week. It has no photos, but is one of those rare cook books that is really fine without them. In fact, I don't think photos would add much. The recipes are not complicated but very flavorful. The raw pumpkin butter is delicious, the almond-garlic pate goes great on the Essene bread. There is a nice section on sprouting and fermented foods. I highly recommend this book." Dr. Marion Rollings

“ By far this book is the easiest to follow, most colourful, and they have great recipes that have turned out exactly as explained. ” Pearl

"I have been dabbling here and there with a rawfood lifestyle and I bought a stack of books to get me started. By far this book is the easiest to follow, most colourful, and they have great recipes that have turned out exactly as explained. I made a great recipe out of this book which I took to two potlucks (raw and a normal meat eater) and a lot of people raved about it. From appetizers to salads, burgers, breads, meals, and desserts this is a great source. Also, one final yet critical thing I like that the authors do is tell you exactly how long and the necessary temperature to have things in the dehydrator which is a common mistake I have discovered many people make in books and on youtube - they leave it out. All in all, this book is an absolute MUST HAVE for a new raw foodie or a seasoned raw foodist. Enjoy."
